Located 150 feet to the left of Icicle Delight, this popular climb consists of thick ice and steep bulges. Start at short (8′) steep section and continue up an drighrt for about 60′ or until an intermediate belay can be placed out of the “drop zone” on the right. From here follow moderately andlged ice and small bulges up unusually thick ice to the big trees above. At the top of the wall (usual rappel point), one can continue upward through trees for 100′ and climb a hidden 20′ ice pillar.

Lat/Long:
After leaving the Eagle River Nature Center, one will arrive at Echo Bend after about 45 minutes to an hour hike. Hollow is the very prominent steep pillar in view. Leave the trail when it comes down to the river. Cross the river and head directly across. Hike up through the drainage for this icefall until one gets to the bottom of the climb.
