After about 1.5 mile ski, a couple of very nice, and sometimes fat, ice falls become prominently visible on the western side of the valley. It is to the right of Dairy Queen and finishes close to the same point. It exists in an obvious avalanche funnel.

Gain access to the nordic ski trails off Mineral Creek Road. After a 1.5 mile ski, these routes become vislble on the left (west) side of the valley. They exist in an obvious avalanche gully and usually you have to hike up through the avi field to gain access to the base of the routes.
