This route is visible on the right side of the eastern wall of the canyon in an obvious rock band. It appears as a series of disconnected pillars or ribbons of ice. The first ascent party used pitons to protect the rock sections.

Gain access to the nordic ski trails off Mineral Creek Road. After a 45 min ski approach, gain access to the river proper to make an ascent up to the base of the route.
