From Steve Davis’s Hunter Creek Guide: Dramatic ice flows can be seen falling along the left side of the canyon wall. The amphitheater can be best described as having two main parts. The lower third of the wall, Curtain Call, contains a steep curtain and pillars ranging in difficulty from WI3-4. “Curtain Right” was climbed by S. Davis and H. Hunt on their first ascent of O Christmas Tree. “Curtain Left” was climbed by H. Hunt and S. Davis during their aborted early season attempts on Starbright. (Note – additional route information on Hunter Creek can be found in the 1997 American Alpine Journal, pg. 183.)
