The route climbs low angle moderate ice for about half of its distance. Then, the ice becomes steep and technical through to the finish. The condition of this route dictates the difficulty.

This route is accessed after a five plus mile approach up the Power Line Pass trail. On Ptarmigan Peak, the main snow gully is visible. This route lies to the right of this gully on the left of a large rock wall. After leaving the trail and climbing approximately several hundred meters, access is gained to the bottom lower angle ice.
