Haines can be accessed by car via the Alcan Highway at the Haines Junction off the Alcan Highway in the Yukon Territory of Canada. Or, one can approach by boat by jumping on the Alaska Marine Highway out of Juneau. Obviously, a plane ride can make for an easy, quicker trip to Haines. This portion of the guide is in development and currently we only have listed the Upper Chilkat River valley. Hopefully, more to come.
