Henry’s

Rating: WI2/3
Length: 50 meters

This area provides consistent conditions from year to year. The lower section climbs easy terrain, followed by a more difficult section near the top. On the right side of this waterfall, one can find a nice steep pillar that leaves enough variation on this waterfall to make this a worthy investment. It is about 50 feet in width at the top and can accommodate several climbing parties.

FA: C. Guenter, B. Roberts & Steve Davis

Anchor: Alder bushes exist for a rappel.

alert icon ALERT: Vandalism and theft have been high at times in this secluded area. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR VEHICLE UNATTENDED.

After exiting the Glenn Highway, head east on the Old Glenn Highway approximately 7.2 miles to a pullout on the south side of the road (Lat: 61 29.822' North, Long: 149 03.586' West). The climbs are visible on the hillside not far from the road.

From the highway pullout (river side), walk directly across the road, through the brush, and up the hillside via a small drainage. Be prepared to wear crampons at the drainage as the trail is often icy. Anti-bot plates are a good idea too. Follow the drainage for approximately 5 minutes to the climbs.
