Victor Creek

Just north of Seward lies the Victor Creek drainage. This creek is almost unnoticeable that you might drive right by without even thinking twice about it. Rest assured, this creek is home to one of the most challenging and technical lines around and also includes some fat, multi-pitch ice.

Head south from Anchorage on the Seward highway. Continue past the Sterling Highway cutoff and continue toward Seward. Approximately 30 minutes later one will arrive at Victor Creek. On the east side of the road on either side of the bridge are areas to park. Hike up the frozen river to access the immediate climbs like King’s Beard or hike the Victor Creek established trail to the big climbs up the valley.
