The route on the left consists of a relative easy curtain that is fairly wide and usually in fat conditions. It is visible from the miner’s shack. Golet received frost bite on the first ascent after getting a wet foot at the top.

Approximately 3.5 miles up the canyon past the switch back one will encounter an area of yellow ice that flows out from a patch of birch trees. Tucked away behind this grove of birch are two climbs of moderate grade.
