This route exists up Hematob Gully. It is the right most ice pillar. According to Blue Ice, Black Gold, the first ascent party consumed a small bottle of Dewar’s Scotch whiskey to “ease the shock of returning to civilization.”

Gain access to the nordic ski trails off Mineral Creek Road. After a 1 mile ski approach, gain access to the river proper to make an ascent up to the base of the route.
