Length: 100 meters, 2 pitches

This route has two steps and is climbed in two pitches. Climb an easy ice flow to a crux curtain that is 70-80 feet in length. Continue climbing through easy steps to a final 40 foot curtain.

Anchor: Many alder bushes are available for setting up anchors. Communication can be difficult on this climb. Bring 2-ways or set up a belay on top of the step.

From the Hunter Creek bridge hike upriver. This is the yellow, large pillar that becomes visible after about 30-40 minutes on the left.

  1. Note: on the map the location of this climb is incorrect. Do not get suckered into the gps pin from that map.

    Continue upstream and continue looking for this climb from the creek bed; it is visible from below and is indeed on the left side of the canyon.

    • Thanks for taking the time to look closely at this map for Hunter.

      When we built out this area, the resolution and quality of this area of the state in Google maps was poor and we did our best to approximate the location of each climb without much detail to go off of or a GPS. Now, the quality does look a lot better but we still may not have the location exact. By all means, the next time you are out there grab an actual GPS and send it over so we can dial in the exact location. Cheers!
