This route meanders through mixed terrain of varying difficulty. It really comes down to timing on this route as conditions can vary dramatically from all rock to sections of varying ice and snow thickness. Eddie Phay‘s Crag Alaska is the authority on route development on Ptarmigan Peak.

This route is accessed after a five plus mile approach up the Power Line Pass trail. On Ptarmigan Peak, the main snow gully is visible. This route lies to the right of this gully and right of Even Hookers Get the Blues.
